Call for papers
Qualicer is open to any field of the international ceramic industry. No paper will be rejected if it is innovative and of sufficient quality, even if its subject matter is not among the highlighted topics in the 2026 edition.
Qualicer encourages the presentation of studies addressing any of the huge challenges involved in the transition towards a ceramic industry with lower geostrategic risk in energy supply, decarbonized and sustainable, including solutions that ensure the industry’s viability in this transitional period by overcoming price volatility in supplies.
We will also highlight papers focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence and automation in the management, production, and marketing of tiles. Likewise, contributions related to installation and industrialized construction, given that the increasing size and weight of tiles requires innovative systems to facilitate handling and reduce injury risks
The Congress remains interested in studies on new or enhanced tile functionalities, such as the integration of smart home elements or improved properties for greater thermal and environmental comfort in buildings and cities, as well as the latest innovations in design and manufacturing processes, digitalisation, big data management, and industry 4.0.
The Congress is also keen to highlight studies that provide solutions stemming from other sectors which could be applicable to the ceramic industry, examining seemingly different albeit conceptually analogous situations.
